Eighty Four, PA — August 16, 2025 — Thomas Presbyterian Church is thrilled to announce its beloved annual Pig Roast and Car Show, set to take place on Saturday, August 16, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at 1068 Linden Rd., Eighty Four, PA. This family-friendly celebration of community, compassion, and classic cars will once again benefit Life Changing Service Dogs For Veterans (LCSDFV), a Pittsburgh-based nonprofit dedicated to transforming veterans’ lives through the powerful bond with service dogs.
Join us for an unforgettable afternoon filled with delicious food, warm fellowship, and stunning vehicles. The event will feature a car show with dash plaques, a Chinese auction, and an atmosphere full of music, laughter, and community spirit.
Headlining this year’s event is the electrifying Foxy’s Moxie, also known as The Collective — a powerful band featuring three Disabled Veterans, whose passion, resilience, and talent inspire audiences at every performance.
Adding to this exceptional lineup is Jeremy, an accomplished drummer and the son of guitarist and vocalist Dan. Jeremy’s dynamic energy and outstanding musicianship drive the band’s rhythm and bring an infectious excitement to the stage. Together, this family of musicians embodies the spirit of unity and strength that resonates deeply with the event’s mission.
Stealing hearts and inspiring all is Foxy, the devoted Medical Service Dog of band member Craig Hodgkins. Foxy will be on stage throughout the performance, proudly wearing her bright red hearing protection, highlighting her vital role as both a Service Dog and the true heart behind the music. Her presence celebrates the profound bond between Veterans and their Service Dogs — a bond that Life Changing Service Dogs For Veterans (LCSDFV) works passionately to support and strengthen.
“This will be the fourth year in a row, and it’s really grown tremendously,” said Patrick Butto, an event organizer from Thomas Presbyterian Church. “The whole purpose is really twofold. We do something for the community by providing entertainment and a nice place to go that’s relatively inexpensive, and at the same time, provide a benefit to an organization. It’s been a good fit with LCSDFV, and we hope to get bigger and bigger.”
Previous years’ events have drawn large crowds from across the region, bringing together car enthusiasts, families, music lovers, and those passionate about supporting veterans. Whether you come for the savory pig roast, the impressive cars, the moving live music, or to meet Foxy herself, there’s something for every member of the family.
