If you have skills in accounting, you could assist with financial management or budget planning. Those with experience in grant writing could help secure funding to fund the training of Service Dogs. Content writers can contribute by creating engaging articles or social media posts to raise awareness about the organization’s work. And if event planning is your forte, you could play a crucial part in organizing fundraisers like the Annual Fundraising Golf Tournament. The LCSDFV Committee is always looking for new members. We meet monthly in Pittsburgh’s Oakland neighborhood. We are looking for more diversity in our membership as well as those who might aspire to a leadership position in the next 12-18 months.

If you are interested in a more active role, please click here. If you would like a member of LCSDFV, and potentially a Veteran and his/her Service Dog to speak to your group, please click here. We have spoken to faith-based groups, VFW/American Legion Posts; school assemblies/classes, ladies’ auxiliaries, and the like.
